Defence and national security work has two requirements that commercial security rarely meets: detection has to work where there is no pattern to match against, and the data has to stay inside Canadian infrastructure with an auditable chain of custody. Aventyr builds toward both. Our deployed systems already run edge AI classification on autonomous, self-powered platforms, and every alarm signal terminates in ULC-certified Canadian receiving centres listed for national industrial security monitoring.

Urban anomaly detection

Rather than matching a known signature, the approach models what normal movement looks like for a given space and time, then flags the departure from it. In dense urban environments that is the only workable definition of a threat indicator.

Rapid-deploy autonomy

Platforms that arrive on a trailer or clamp to an existing structure, power themselves, connect over multi-carrier cellular, and are producing classified detections the same day. No trenching, no fixed infrastructure, no host-site network dependency.

Thermal imaging detects heat signatures through smoke, dust and total darkness, where optical sensing returns nothing usable.

Canadian signal path

Alarms are received and processed through Aventyr's ULC-certified monitoring under CAN/ULC-S561, with geographically separate backup facilities. Signals do not leave Canadian infrastructure.

The receiving centres are listed under CRZM, monitoring stations for national industrial security per UL 2050, and under UL 827 central station alarm services with annual third-party audit.

How We Work With Defence

Scope

Aventyr is a Canadian, UL and ULC certified security and managed monitoring provider. We design the sensing and detection layer, deploy it, and run the monitoring and response path behind it, either directly or as the sensing and monitoring layer under a prime or integrator.

Every deployment is delivered as a managed, monitored service with a Canadian signal path. We do not sell standalone or unmonitored equipment, and we are clear at first contact about where a requirement sits outside our scope.
