UL and ULC certified security and managed monitoring, built in British Columbia
Aventyr Security Corporation designs, deploys and operates AI-driven surveillance for construction, industrial and infrastructure sites across North America. We are not a rental yard and we are not a camera reseller. Every deployment is an integrated service: we assess the site, specify the safeguards, install and calibrate them, and then staff the response path from a ULC-certified monitoring centre. That is the only way we sell.
Aventyr operates strictly as an integrated security and managed monitoring provider. We do not sell standalone hardware, we do not do installation-only work, and we do not leave a deployment unmonitored.
That is not a sales preference. A camera nobody is watching produces evidence after a loss and nothing before it. If we put equipment on a site and it is not connected to a monitoring centre with a written response procedure, we have sold the customer a recording device and let them believe they bought security.
What We Hold Ourselves To
🧭
Assessment before equipment
We will not quote a camera count for a site we have not assessed. Understanding the threat first is the difference between a system that fits and a system that is merely expensive.
🏗️
Lease-to-own, not rental
Thirty-six month terms where every payment builds equity in hardware the customer keeps. At end of term the asset is theirs, and we redeploy it to their next site.
✅
Verified alarms only
An operator reviews live video before anything escalates. Customers are billed per verified event rather than through a flat rate that makes quiet sites subsidise busy ones.
🇨🇦
Canadian monitoring
Signals terminate in ULC-certified Canadian receiving centres. Three of them, geographically separated, independently listed.
🔧
One accountable party
We supply, mount, install, calibrate, service, remove, store, redeploy and manage warranty. There is no second vendor to point at when something stops working.
💵
Pricing that does not move
No mobilisation charges, no mid-contract escalators, no dispatch minimums. What is signed is what is paid.

Where your signals go
Aventyr monitors every system it deploys. Alarm signals are received through ULC-certified monitoring, staffed 24/7/365 by certified operators, at geographically separate facilities so there is no single point of failure. All signal handling stays inside Canadian infrastructure.
Background
Aventyr was founded and is led by Aaron Ker, who came to it from corporate security on large British Columbia projects, including BC Hydro Site C and Parq Vancouver, and before that from loss prevention. That background shapes how the company works: the discipline of loss prevention is reading patterns in what people actually do on a site, and that is precisely what the analytics layer of a modern surveillance system is for. The company is headquartered in Surrey, British Columbia, and serves clients across North America.
Aventyr systems are in service with general contractors and industrial operators including Aecon, EllisDon, Pomerleau, Stuart Olson and Lafarge.
